I’m reminded of something else Bill Clinton once said; he said people are more willing to follow someone who is ‘strong and wrong’ than someone who is weak but right. I agree with that statement, and Obama has to be ready to do some down-and-dirty battling for his position- calling Romney a liar when he lets loose with a whopper (e.g., I’ve never heard of tax breaks for offshoring jobs) for instance. Obama’s capable of fighting, but he has to know it’s time. Hope he’s figured that out by now.
